eBay rip off for $152
Saturday, 19 November 2005
I would feel bloody cheated if I had won the auction of the eBay: Like New 4GB iPod Nano Box Black 1 Day Old!.
But then again, why would I ever start bidding on a rip off like this? Paying $152 for an nearly empty box for an iPod Nano … ;o)
First Descent
Tuesday, 15 November 2005

After having spent my entire weekend playing Amped on the Xbox (and a few rounds of poker, plus lots of beer and cigarettes = Perfect Weekend!!) I have to see this film sometime very soon…
Perhaps I should even take my own chances on the board one day? Naah, that would require my to get outside in the cold… then I’d rather be surfing in California!!

YouTube - Flickr of Video
Tuesday, 8 November 2005
I just discovered YouTube … the Flickr of Video. Here you can upload video clips and publish them easily on the net… even lets you embed the videos on your website.
This video is taken in Berlin in April … I thought it would be the best example, since all of us on the film are going to Fanø to get drunk and play cards very very soon … for 5 straight days … Gonna feel like a re-run of the bachelor party ;o)
Cow Tipping Unleashed
Tuesday, 8 November 2005
Apparently this really is turning into a true Cow Site! I just couldn’t resist myself from commenting on an article in The Times.
Margo Lillie, a doctor of zoology at the University of British Columbia, and her student Tracy Boechler have been boing some very interesting studies on the physics of cow-tipping. I’m so glad I am not a tax paying citizen in Canada.
And it seems that what we hear in bars, from friends and colleagues are all just a HOAX!!!! Unless of course they were a party of 5 when tipping the cow (you know on their last trip to the outback part of nowhere).
A cow of 1.45 metres in height pushed at an angle of 23.4 degrees relative to the ground would require 2,910 Newtons of force, equivalent to 4.43 people, she wrote.
Then have we been lied to all these years? Or do we just know some really fast people:
The static physics of the issue say . . . two people might be able to tip a cow,” she said. “But the cow would have to be tipped quickly — the cow’s centre of mass would have to be pushed over its hoof before the cow could react.
Milking the statistics
Monday, 7 November 2005

I just had a bit of an eye-opener today.
I was looking through my website statistics for October trying to see who is looking at my site .. and out of total curiousity, to see what search keywords they used (if any!) to enter my site.
The all time winner … and not only for a single week or month is: COW ….
How in the world this has happened is a total mystery to me … But now its final … The ultimate keyword when searching for smorum.com is COW.
Must change my focus on the site to a more agricultural theme … of perhaps just sell the whole thing to a dairy farm somewhere …
